Aims and scope

JCS is aimed to conduct scientific investigation on the materials of cultural heritage and specialized studies with technologies to conserve and restore it and also to provide an international forum for scientists, engineers, conservator, and restorers from widely different scientific backgrounds.

JCS publishes the conservation research articles in a field of natural science as a physics, chemistry, biology, mineralogy and metallurgy, and humanities with archaeology, art history and historiography. Also, this publishes the articles on a wide range of cultural heritage from conservation and restoration techniques to digital restoration to reproduce the disappearing traditional technology and materials.
